apparently at some point when my now-girlfriend and i were flirting with each other but not quite in a relationship, she asked me how i felt about pet names, to which i replied “well you have to call them something”
the fact that i have managed to end up in a relationship is really testament to my girlfriend’s patience
#your girlfriend is a moronsexual op
please don’t call my girlfriend a moron :(

Evgenia Medvedeva - idontwannabeyouanymore by Billie Eilish [ Exhibition Gala 2019 ]
Elena Egorova: “Evgenia said in an interview that the words “I don’t wanna be you anymore” do apply to her.
She had quite a bumpy ride in the last two years. She’d got a stress fracture on her right foot in the beginning of the Olympic season. Had to skate two competitions (which she won) with an injury in order to have her component scores.
Then it got worse. She withdrew from grand prix final, skipped the Nationals and came to Europeans with a half-healed foot and also back pains. There she lost for the first time in two years to her younger teammate Alina Zagitova and she was the favourite for the Olympic gold. She gave the performance of her life on the Olympics and still lost to Alina by only 1.31 points.
Then she decided to change her coach and move to Toronto and half of Russia started hating her and calling her a “traitor”. Some even wished her death under her instagram posts and sent her threat letters. Because she had to rebuild her whole technique she had unstable jumps and just couldn’t skate clean, plus her mental health wasn’t okay after all the hate she received.
Imagine thinking that the whole world hates you and the one thing you truly love and have dedicated your life to just doesn’t work anymore? That was the hell she was living in.
And then to come back on the world podium after such a rollercoaster was a power move. It was a statement. “I’m not going anywhere”, “I’m staying to fight”, “I’m much stronger than I used to be”.
So… this programme isn’t just any exhibition, it has her story in it. Her soul. “I don’t wanna be you anymore” is “I don’t want to be that weak, broken person ever again”. It’s “I’m older and stronger and wiser and I want to become a better version of myself every day, better than I was two years ago”. And she really is becoming better and better every day. Her skating skills have improved so much. Her jumps got bigger. Her body became stronger and her mind is more clear than it used to be. She literally LIVES in her programmes now. She’s a fighter. And the strongest person I’ve ever known.”
